At Newcastle Harbour Coal Terminal, remediation works are now underway on one of the site’s coal stackers and associated tipper system. Engaged by Programmed, our role was not simply to install scaffold. It was to engineer a solution that could operate within a live, high consequence environment without disrupting operations.
The result is a large scale, engineered scaffold system spanning multiple sections of the stacker, providing safe and efficient access across critical areas of the structure.

The system incorporates multiple working levels and has been configured specifically to suit the scale and mechanical complexity of the asset, allowing remediation works to proceed safely and without constraint.

With works now underway, the focus shifts to delivery, but the outcome is largely determined well before the first component is installed.
